Kazuya is invited to East Genetics Academy to meet the #1 ranked third-year Pandora, Cathy Lockheart, who possesses Stigmata from Kazuya's sister, Kazuha. She explains she plans to retire after graduating to become a writer. As Kazuya returns home, it is revealed that Satellizer also possesses some of Kazuha's Stigmata, but showed little compatibility with them. It is also revealed Cathy was present during an incident a year ago when Satellizer attacked a Limiter, her resolve to never give up putting fear inside Cathy. Just then, East Genetics is attacked by a group of Type S Nova who exhibit abilities that haven't been seen before, overwhelming the students and absorbing some of the Pandoras, including Cathy. Meanwhile, Satellizer overhears Kazuya talking with Arthur and Kaho, believing that Kazuya only chose her because she reminded him of Kazuha.
